In this Week’s Family Update:

* Operation Christmas Child is back starting July 6th.  We are kicking off Christmas in July with shoeboxes in the atrium to be filled.  Stop by their information table to pick up your shoe box and to get more information.  If you are looking for tools to help with tips on how to pack a box, check out this VIDEO or use the GIFT SUGGESTION LIST found HERE.  You can also find other helpful resources on the Samaritan’s Purse website, HERE.

* Matsiko will be performing this Sunday, July 6th at 4:00 PM at the Chapdelanie’s Home.  Parking will be at the Hawthron pool, and the shuttle will begin at 3:15.  All are welcome, and remember to bring your own blanket or lawn chair.

* July 19th is our Family Serve Day.  Looking for a way to serve together as a family this summer? Join us for a special Family Serve Day at Shepherd’s House OR Silver Creek Church! This is a hands-on opportunity for kids and adults alike to show the love of Jesus through simple, meaningful service, like; organizing supplies, cleaning, and other miscellaneous needs. It’s a great way to help those in need while modeling compassion and generosity to your kids. Come be the hands and feet of Jesus together!  Let us know if you are interested in serving either at the church from 9:00 am-12:00 pm or Sehpherd’s House from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or both!  Registrations are located on the Events page HERE.

* Just as a reminder, Silver Creek Church has a shuttle service on Sunday mornings for the 9:30 and 11:00 services.  Parking is at the University Hospitals parking lot, located in the Barrington Town Center across from Heinen's.  The shuttle will pick you up in the parking lot and bring you right to the front door.  If you are a member or a regular attender, please consider this option to ensure we can make room for new guests looking to be filled with the words of Jesus.
