At Silver Creek Church, one of our 10 years goals is to be a church that gives at least 10% of our income to like-minded local and global ministries outside of the church. Our GLO team spends time vetting each ministry to assure best practices and alignment with our vision, values, and doctrine. Our desire is to be a church that partners well with each ministry partner through prayer, through serving their needs, and through financial contributions.

Ways to get involved:
Faithful Friends is a nursing home ministry here in Aurora, led by Nate Hunter. They could use volunteers for the following:
- Bible Study Tuesdays at 9:30am at Avenue at Aurora
- Church Services on Sundays at 9:30 at Avenue at Aurora
- Church Services on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month at 3:00pm at Anna Maria of Aurora
* Volunteers can come and pass out song books, help residents find pages, and befriend them.

Samaritan's Purse
Are you interested in joining a team from Silver Creek Church this July or August to serve with Samaritan’s Purse in North Carolina? We’re gathering a group to help rebuild and restore homes impacted by hurricanes, bringing both practical help and the hope of Jesus to those in need. This is an opportunity to use your hands and heart to make a difference while serving alongside others from our church family.
Those interested must be 14 years or older and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Card Ministry
Our new Card Ministry is a wonderful opportunity to encourage and uplift others through handwritten notes of care and support. Whether it’s sending birthday cards, notes of encouragement, or prayers to those in need, this ministry allows you to make a meaningful impact. Signing up simply lets us know you’re interested—there’s no obligation to commit to every request. Join us in sharing the love of Christ through the simple yet powerful act of sending a heartfelt card! Let us know you're interested here.
