In this Week’s Family Update:

* July 19th is our Family Serve Day.  Looking for a way to serve together as a family this summer? Join us for a special Family Serve Day at Shepherd’s House OR Silver Creek Church! This is a hands-on opportunity for kids and adults alike to show the love of Jesus through simple, meaningful service, like; organizing supplies, cleaning, and other miscellaneous needs. It’s a great way to help those in need while modeling compassion and generosity to your kids. Come be the hands and feet of Jesus together!  Let us know if you are interested in serving either at the church from 9:00 am-12:00 pm or Shepherd’s House from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or both!  Registrations are located on the Events page HERE.

* New to Silver Creek Church or want to meet newcomers and recent attending families? Join us Sunday, August 24th at 12:15pm to meet new and seasoned members, newcomers, and staff. Enjoy lunch and learn more about Silver Creek Church and what opportunities we have to offer you and your family.  SIGN UP HERE.

We want to extend a warm welcome to our 37 new members! Please be praying for these individuals as they find ways to become more involved in the church, and do not hesitate to help be their guide.  

* Just as a reminder, Silver Creek Church has a shuttle service on Sunday mornings for the 9:30 and 11:00 services.  Parking is at the University Hospitals parking lot, located in the Barrington Town Center across from Heinen's.  The shuttle will pick you up in the parking lot and bring you right to the front door.  If you are a member or a regular attender, please consider this option to ensure we can make room for new guests looking to be filled with the words of Jesus.
