In this Week’s Family Update:

Join the community for Pray Aurora on May 1st, the official Day of Prayer.  We will be joining other churches in the area to start the day in prayer and worship.  Meet at 7:00 am at the gazebo in front of the Aurora Library.  We will see you there!

BIG SERVING  OPPORTUNITIES!

1.  Help make the greatest week of the summer a huge success!  VBC is back this June and we NEED YOU!  We need 60 more volunteers, 6th grade and up, to assist with making this year's Vacation Bible Camp safe and fun.  We need people to help in class, security, food service, set up, break down, and so many other areas.  This year, we are offering free child care to volunteers needing help with newborn to 3-year-old children.  Please consider helping out!  Select the “VBC Volunteer Leader Registration” in the Registration Link HERE.

2.  CALLING ALL MUSICIANS!  Our Worship Team is now looking for instrumentalists and male singers.  If you or your child is interested in sharing your talents, please reach out to Worship Director, Rebecca Shepherd at rebecca.shepherd@silvercreekchurch.com.

Attendance at our 9:30 and 11:00 am Sunday services is starting to grow.  We are so blessed to see so many joining in worship.  With that growth, we are finding new ways to make sure no one feels like there is a “No Vacancy” sign out front.  One way is the new SCC Shuttle!  If you are a Member or Regular Attendee of our 9:30 or 11:00 am service, would you consider using our shuttle service?  All you will need to do is park in the University Hospital parking lot across from the Heinen's, and our shuttle will take you straight to the front doors.  We appreciate the cooperation as we move through these changes and praise God for our growth!
